As an author, Stephenson has written several cricket books, including “Worme’s Cricket Dictionary,” and “Welcome to Windward Islands Cricket,” One of his other recent books, “Mount Up with Wings – The Christian Like an Eagle,” compares the Christian life to an eagle’s. Stephenson’s passion for history moved him to write “Grenada Back Then in Photos,” which portrays Grenada’s rich heritage in photos.
Stephenson Worme is a well-known international cricket commentator and remains the only person in Grenada and the Windward Islands who has done cricket commentary involving every Test-playing country except for Afghanistan. He was also an athletics commentator in Grenada. Stephenson studied theology at the West Indies School of Theology in Trinidad from 1985-1988. On Graduation, he was the graduate speaker and was voted the best all-around student.
Stephenson, a motivational speaker, has been well-known at schools’ graduation exercises in Grenada. As a minister of religion, he has given many years of pastoral service in Grenada and has taken his preaching ability throughout the Caribbean, Kenya, and Rwanda. He is a people person whose philosophy is to be kind, understanding, and friendly.
